Cancellation policy

Some items in our store may be offered as a subscription or a pre-order. This policy explains how you can change or cancel these purchases. We do not currently offer "try before you buy".

Subscriptions

When you subscribe to our Monthly Subscription, you receive one parcel each month. Your payment method is stored securely with our payment provider and charged automatically at the start of each billing cycle, unless you have paid in advance through a prepaid gift subscription.

You can cancel or pause your subscription at any time from your customer account. Cancellations and pauses take effect at the end of the current billing cycle; no refunds are issued for the current month once it has been billed. Each subscription parcel is also covered by your 14-day right of withdrawal under Estonian and EU consumer law — see our Refund Policy for details.

Prepaid gift subscriptions (3-month and 6-month) do not auto-renew. Once the first parcel has shipped, the gift subscription cannot be cancelled as a whole, but each parcel remains subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal.

If the book selected for a given month is unavailable from suppliers, we will notify you by email and offer either a curated substitute of equivalent value or a credit toward a future month.

Pre-orders

A pre-order is a purchase of a book or item that is not yet in stock — for example, a forthcoming title, a special edition, or a limited gift box. The expected dispatch date is shown on the product page at the time of purchase.

We may take full payment at checkout or only a partial deposit, depending on the item. Your payment method is stored securely; any remaining balance is charged when the order is fulfilled.

You can cancel a pre-order at any time before it ships, and we will refund any payment already taken. Once the order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled as a pre-order, but you retain the standard 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive it. If the expected dispatch date is significantly delayed beyond what was shown at purchase, we will contact you and offer either to wait, to substitute, or to cancel with a full refund.
